Performs user acceptance testing and unit testing to evaluate application functionality. Set project deadlines and conclude the assigned development tasks within time limit, without neglecting coding ethics and best practices. Provides help to lower level microservices Developers when needed, and performs code reviews to improve code quality and overall effectiveness of the application. Analyze and troubleshoots software development issues relating to microservices architecture, and provide technical oversight for Developers in an Agile team and QA through the Sprint cycle. Collaborate effectively with the Product Management team to comprehend requirements and drive technical design for the development team on the inclusion of microservices features. Experienced in multiple microservices software development technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Docker, Ruby, Bitbucket, HTML5, Python, CSS, Node.js, Rest API’s, Kubernetes, Xamarin, and SDK’s (IOS and Android). Work with other staffs in the project team to do root cause analysis on production issues. Able to leverage experience and skill in writing unit tests, applying design patterns, and optimizing full stack application performance. May have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or any other related fields, with 5-7 years of exposure in microservices software development and long term exposure to software tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery. Known to be a proven team player that is willing to help team members when required. May have a prior business understanding. Able to communicate directly with stakeholders and business clients with sufficient verbal and written communication skills. Typically reports to the senior microservices manager.
