Senior Principle Microservices Engineer enlightens clients on how to develop large applications by splitting them into smaller units that can be independently deployed. Offers expert advice to clients on the design, development, testing, support, and use of new and existing microservices applications. Use top-notch programming skills to refactor monolithic applications into single independent microservices. Offers subject matter expertise (SME) in breaking down the organization’s monolithic applications into scalable, smaller, modular units with independent functionalities. Possess adequate knowledge and understanding of Domain Driven Design (DDD), Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Big Data Technologies, DevOps services, Kubernetes clusters, Continuous Integration Pipelines, and so on. Defines project scope plan the project timeline, and estimate project budget. May possess technical background in Computer science, Computer engineering, Physics, or any other technical fields. Has between more than 11 years’ experience in this field, with many years of experience working on complex microservices software development projects using computing languages like Java, PHP, Ruby, Python, and so on. May know other programming languages like C++, .Net, as well as the use of frameworks like NodeJS, Docker, Kubernetes, Hibernate, and so on. Familiar with the use of microservices frameworks like Spring Boot and Lagom. Has skills necessary for de-coupling various monolith applications into relevant microservices system; and resolves all backend development problems associated with microservices systems. Demonstrates immense innovative, analytical, creative, and problem-solving skills. Capable of communicating and explaining the functionalities of both currently-existing and newly-planned microservices systems and applications to both technical and non-technical audiences. Guides the organization’s team of microservices developers and engineers in developing custom-made microservices systems and applications that meet the needs and requirements of the organization. In collaboration with lower-level Principle Microservices Engineers, channels all efforts towards the accomplishment of the organization’s goals of enhanced efficiency and increased profitability.
