Java microservices cloud application Architect II, under supervision, leads the entire design of multi-platform, cross-functional application systems. Develops blueprints and application architecture to reflect enterprise goals and objectives. Define application components, platforms, interfaces, and development tools. Conducts analysis and review of business needs and objectives with the aim of developing and implementing microservices applications. Collaborate with other members of the team in the transformation of business objectives into workable technical strategies. Assists in creating microservices architectures using tools such as Kafka, API, and so on. Performs effective analysis to determine the cause of business problems and participate with other members of the team in the development of alternative solutions during the design stage and enabling the implementation of adopted solutions. Define architectural roadmaps with other architects and assist in defining the product application roadmaps in cooperation with developing team and other stakeholders. Assess and adopt new and emerging cloud technologies to improve the quality of microservices application to businesses and organizations. Has extensive experience using Java, Kafka, REST/Webservices, API Development, Spring Frameworks, cloud services, Web Portal Development, SQL, AWS, and so on. Experienced working with system tools such as Six Sigma, DOE, Failure Analysis, FMEA, Minitab, LabView, MathCAD, MathLAB, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and IBM DOORS. Proficient in Windows, UNIX, and Linux operating systems, including knowledge of computer scripting/programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Java, Linux shell/BASH, Perl, Ruby, and relational database languages like SQL and MySQL. May have 6-10 years of experience in the field of Java Microservices Application Architecture development, or any other field related to microservices application development. Demonstrates advanced level of experience in maintaining technical documentation to ensure efficient planning, implementation, and execution of organizational projects. Works under the supervision of the Senior Java Microservices Application Architect.
