Microservices java API developer II is responsible for developing and implementing Application Programming Interface as a set of functions that allows the delivery of user requirements integrated into Java microservices application. Builds APIs that is capable of handling thousands of requests per second for reliability and efficiency. Microservices Java API developer II works as a channel, taking an establishment’s ambitions for the API technology and turning them into something real by interpreting the vision for the API that has been set by the establishment stakeholders. Will collaborate with stakeholders to produce an API that meets business requirements. Responsible for implementing highly secured API design practices to allow the API to reflect the best possible design and developer experience. Works with the Integration team to design and support both OnPremise integration & cloud Azure and error reporting solutions. Works with related technologies and SQL Server to implement data migrations. Designs and integration microservices solutions using Azure cloud technologies and other appropriate cutting-edge technologies, including elastic search and cloud transformation tools like Jitterbit & SOA. Creates maintaining and versioning API’s in the Azure management layer. Render the business speciality into numerous APIs by having a clear understanding of the business vision and its functions. Collaboratively work with API architecture and assist with day-to-day controls and existing legacy architecture. Structure feedback loops that comprise developer feedback sessions, beta users, prototypes, versioning, and release. Have a comprehensive knowledge of the REST architectural style, including all its variations. Possesses in-depth knowledge of programming languages. Has the ability to communicate effectively with other members of the team. Has demonstrable experience developing java applications and in using essential modern enterprise frameworks such as Spring/SpringBoot, REST, and RESTful API design. Experienced using microservices DevOps technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes).
