Java Back-end Microservices Engineer I, under adequate supervision, is accountable for server-side web application logic. Plays a key role in designing, testing, installing, and maintaining microservices software systems used in Java applications. Responsible for integration of the job done by the front end developers. Creates the framework and the core logic of the java application system. Manages and secure all related databases involved in the system development. Interact with different servers and thus executes and maintains the servers. Responsible for finding out the strategy to be employed to solve specific tasks. Takes charge of product functionality and work with the technical and product leadership to convert ideas into a great product. Carries out backend programming on software designs on desktop mobile and web-based applications. Researches, designs, implement and manage software programs. Help to identify areas for modification and suggest means for improvement in existing java programs and subsequently developing new or modified versions. Holds a bachelor degree in Informations Technology, Computer Science, computer engineering or a related field, with2-5 years of experience working as a Back-end Engineer. Java microservices software engineer I, analyzes the end-user needs prior to creating applications for businesses and organizations. Tests and evaluates new programs. Stay up-to-date with the latest backend technologies and patterns and proactively find means to apply them to the business problem. Develops microservices using design patterns such as Commander, Proxy, Branch and Aggregator. Utilizes Microservices API container platform using Docker. Carries out orchestration of Microservices API’s Container using Kubernetes. Responsible for maintaining, managing, and securing API Gateway. Utilization of HTTP, REST, JSON and IP Technologies. Development of Microservices using Functional Programming. Writing Microservices API Testing using Mockito, Junit, PACT and REST Assured. Experienced with modern authorization mechanisms, such as Web Token, OAuth2 and JSON. Highly familiar with code versioning tools such as Git. Experienced using Agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Confluence, and JIRA.
