LR051 Java Backend Microservices Engineer III

Java Backend Engineer III is responsible for the design, development, and operation of server-side information in Java web applications and integrates user-side components developed by front-end developers with backend server-side logic. Builds recyclable codes and libraries for imminent use. Conducts optimization of the Java application for maximum speed, reliability, and scalability. Responsible for Implementing security systems and data protection of application products. Lead the design and implementation of data storage solutions. Research and classify needed software solutions, defining implementation designs of solutions to be built, and offer guidance concerning the implications of new and enhanced systems. Build robust and scalable Java software in Ruby, C++, and Scala. Design and develop services and system architecture for projects, and contribute and provide response to other team members. Assists in improving code quality by performing code reviews and writing unit tests. Work in collaboration with multi-disciplinary team of Backend Software developers, project managers, and system administrators. Work with the design and product teams to comprehend end-user requests and translate them into effective technical microservices solutions that enhance user experience. Has good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors like SASS and LESS. May have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 5-7 years of experience in related fields. Experienced with all or some of the stages of the software development life cycle. Knowledgeable with best practices and Agile Software development. Capable of leveraging software design knowledge to create software that’s reusable, extensible, and meets desired architectural aims. Has strong knowledge of Web Server technologies, including J2EE Apache and NGINX. Experienced with Java, Scala, and Ruby, and has the willingness to study new technologies. Establish Backend Software Engineer best practices among team members in the organization. Experienced with Unix/Linux and Java scripting languages like shell Perl and Python. Understands database systems and NoSQL databases.
