Builds security system into DevOps project while it is being developed. Play a key role in microservice systems by making use of specific automation tools to detect vulnerabilities in DevOps projects. Adopt and utilize a variety of best practice tools and methods such as threat modelling, cybersecurity software, and risk assessments to identify and evaluate threats. Build security functions and tools that enable the Security Engineering team to operate at a wide scale and high speed. Assess security technologies for cloud environments in order to device controls in the most modernized and enhanced manner. Responsible for Creating programmed security solutions for cloud delivery processes. Set up compliance solutions for large-scale cloud facilities using container and microservice technologies. Able to develop security and compliance capabilities in support of DevOps processes. Craft and create secure cloud platform & product requirements. Improve and maintain documentation for security systems and procedures. Stay up-to-date on security industry trends. May have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, and any other related field, with 5-7 years of experience working with DevOps systems. Extensive knowledge of cloud-based DDoS protection services such as Imperva Incapsula, AWS Advanced Shield, and Akamai. Has solid knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), including ELB VPC, KMS, EC2 IAM, CloudTrail Config, Lambda, CloudFormation, and others. Has knowledge of network-based, system-level, and application-layer attacks and mitigation methods. Has extensive experience working with container technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker. Experienced in DevOps environments and maintaining security in Continous Integration/Continous Delivery processes. Experienced with the development, deployment, and automation of security solutions in an enterprise cloud-based setting. Possesses good knowledge of AWS automation tools and strategies. Experienced in high-tech, start-up environments. Has proven experience with threat modelling and security methodologies. Has a deep understanding of DevOps and network security concepts.
