Big Data Microservices Consultant I, creates strategies and programs to collects, stores, visualizes, and analyzes data from various microservice developmental phases for certain projects. Lead team and project, ensure the quality and on-time delivery and to meet the required specifications. Able to design big data solution, gives recommendations on the best method and ensure implementation of the chosen big data solution. Translate business issues into big data solutions that will help (senior) managers in their decision-making. Can give new insights on improvement to organisations that already have a big data solution in place and thereby improving business results. Collaborates with big data scientists and engineers to create potent data processes to be purposed into real time analytics. Builds the necessary microservice architecture for the chosen big data solution. Produces precise analysis of the datasets using the latest big data technologies and smart algorithms. Keeps up to date with the latest big data trends and understands the possibilities regarding public data. Able to assess data sets and ensures the precision and quality and of the available data. Able to query the data, perform analysis and demonstrate findings in a clear and comprehensible language. Uses experience and technical knowledge to deliver big data solution in cloud. Have a bachelor’s degree in information technology or any computer related course, with 2- years of experience working as a big data consultant in a technical field. Able to program in several programming/scripting languages such as R, Java, Python, Ruby, Matlab, Clojure, Pig or SQL. Experienced with microservices frameworks such as Spring, Play, Angular, javascriptjquery. Have experience with one of the large cloud-computing substructure solutions like Elastic MapReduce and Amazon Web Services. Enjoys working in teams, able to communicate effectively at executive level. Have a mindset to improve business results using big data technology.
