Principle Microservices Developer III, under adequate supervision, helps to build high performing, scalable, and reliable microservices applications. Builds software component and multi-threaded services that resolve particular problems for organizations. Identifies opportunities for business and government agencies to improve, and design and implements strategies to accomplish that. Develops coding documentations and technical specifications for assigned project to aid users. Coordinates the development of software applications and supports applications delivery into live environments for testing using modern technologies. Capable of developing communication routines with frameworks such as Apache Kafka to implement smooth data exchange among organizational personnel and clients. Creates, develops, and implements automated tests necessary for long-term robustness and stability of the microservices products. Performs unit testing and user acceptance testing to evaluate microservices application functionalities and ensures coding standards are followed by the programming team. Analyzes and resolves application development issues accurately, and understands OOP and SOA principles, design patterns, and industry best practices. Oversees the tools and frameworks used by developers and evaluates intersystem interactions, structures, and technologies used for microservices applications within the organization. Reviews business requirements, and recommend changes to develop reliable applications. Possesses prolific software coding skills and contributes to development documentations. Experienced in building REST web services using Java, PHP, SQL, JSON, and API frameworks. Proficient in various security protocols such as OAuth 2.0, SAML, and JWT, and their implementation using spring framework and other development tools like Eclipse, Git, Gradle, Sonar, Jekins, Jira, Artifactory. Knowledgeable about TDD, code testability standards, Junit, and Mockito. Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Computer or any other related field, with 3-5 years relevant programming experience and a minimum of 11 or more years of experience in related fields. Works with other developers to find solutions to organizational problems. Works under the guidance of Senior Principle Microservices Developer.
