LR057 Microservices Quality Assurance Test Engineer I

Microservices Quality Assurance Test Engineer I, under general supervision, is responsible for reviewing technical design and quality specifications for microservice software systems to provide appropriate and significant feedback to the company. Develop and carry out investigative and mechanical tests to ensure microservices product quality. Microservices Quality Assurance Test Engineer I, designs and implement tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. Helps to evaluate system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. open defect counts and defect densities.) Conducts tests before product presentations to ensure that microservices software runs efficiently and meets client needs while being economical. Efficiently collaborate with engineers and business partners to deliver the finest possible technical solutions. Advocate for maintaining a high-quality bar while staying current with the latest test automation best practices and developments. In the end, observe all phases of software development to categorize and address system errors to meet quality standards. Work collaboratively with the development teams to check technical solutions to ensure quality, security and sustainability. Possesses a bachelor’s degree in Computer related course with 2-5 years of experience working as a test engineer in a technical specialty. Comprehensively knowledgeable with testing automation tools and frameworks (such as Protractor, Selenium/WebDriver, JUnit). Work cooperatively with cross-functional teams to comprehend project goals, gather automation requirements, design automated tests, troubleshoot issues, and device scalable test automation solutions. Prioritizing, estimating, coordinating, and planning quality testing activities. Have vast experience in making up test-plans and test scenarios. Has advanced knowledge of functional testing. Hands-on experience in automated testing. Has knowledge of basic programming methods, classes, and patterns. Has knowledge of TestNG, or other similar frameworks. Experienced working with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Has a working experience with selenium web-driver and REST APIs. Reports to the Senior Microservices QA Test Engineer.
